Green Connect Transforms Sona College of Technology Biogas Plant

In a successful collaboration, Green Connect revamped the bio gas plant at Sona College of Technology. The college had initially installed the bio gas plant back in 2012, but due to unforeseen issues, it failed to function optimally.

In 2019, Sona College approached Green Connect with the task of revamping their bio gas plant. An expert team of engineers was assigned to assess and address the challenges faced by the plant. One of the major obstacles identified during the inspection was a blockage in the pipeline, which hindered the smooth flow of bio gas.

Green Connect promptly replaced the problematic pipeline with a new and efficient connection, ensuring seamless gas flow throughout the system. To further enhance the performance and safety of the bio gas plant, the team equipped it with essential components such as bio gas stoves, an H2S scrubber to eliminate harmful gases, a bio gas flow meter for precise measurements, and a flame arrestor to prevent accidents.

After the comprehensive revamp, the bio gas plant at Sona College of Technology is now operating at its full potential, providing a reliable and eco-friendly energy source for various applications.
